/, Interpreting/October Interpreter Spotlight

October brings the start of the Fall season and Vocalink is proud to announce our Interpreter Spotlight for the month, Marina Camacho!

Marina has been an interpreter for Vocalink for over 10 years, supporting the needs of our clients Spanish language needs.  Her experience spans from supporting medical, social services, corporate America to all levels of court interpreting.  Over the past years Marina has been selected to travel with clients, attend assignments at the Base and within local corporations helping with visitors from various Hispanic countries.

Marina’s professional experience has recently added State of Ohio Supreme Court Certified Interpreter; she has attended several trainings over the years to help her prepare for her career.  In January of 2014 Marina will start her preparation to receive her Medical Certification and Federal Court Certification.

Being an interpreter is something Marina takes very seriously, when asked what she likes best about being interpreter Marina said “The challenges that I face every day, I take every case and every medical appointment as an individual and not just another appointment.”

Working for Vocalink over the past years Marina has seen many changes and much growth, her favorite part is “I get to set my own schedule.  I appreciate that Vocalink values where I am at this time.”

Vocalink values Marina and her commitment to the industry and Vocalink!  Congratulations Marina and we are proud to have you on our team.
