/, Interpreting/The Community Interpreter Certifications Awarded in December

We are pleased to announce that we have certified four interpreters through the TCI (The Community Interpreter) training program. The four newly-certified interpreters combined speak five languages – Spanish, Turkish, Russian, Ahiska, and Arabic; and are able to provide in-person interpretation services in the Dayton and Cincinnati Ohio markets. To receive this prestigious credential, interpreters must attend a TCI training class led by a certified trainer and pass the TCI exam.

A TCI certificate is valued by interpreters because it demonstrates their commitment to their craft of language interpretation excellence. TCI is nationally recognized and certifies interpreters on their ability to interpret medical, educational, human, and/or social services communications. In addition, TCI certifies interpreters for their expertise in understanding standard protocols, ethics and handing unique situations.

Interpreters wishing to enhance their careers and earn a TCI certificate or learn more about TCI, can contact Vocalink at 1.877.492.7754 or http://vocalink.wpengine.com/fusion/training/.
